Paving works for the heavy container storage yard at the new Thilafushi Commercial Port are entering their final stages. The Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) initiative aims to shift major industrial shipping operations away from central Malé to relieve severe congestion in the capital's harbor and expand overall maritime clearance capacity.
